RS232 Signal Changes

SI_SCOPE allows you to analyze the status of the RS232 control signals two different ways. A break out box with the current state of all the status signals is always displayed in SI_SCOPE'S action bar on the bottom of the screen. A green signal indicates that the pin is currently at a logic high state.

SI_SCOPE also has the ability to capture changes in the RS232 signal states to the data stream. This allows you to review exactly where and when a particular signal state changed. You can enable this feature by choosing the "Signal Capture On" option from the Functions Menu. When a RS232 signal changes state SI_SCOPE will display the signal name in red when the signal changed from low to high, or black if the signal changed from high to low.

SI_SCOPE will use the full three character abbreviation for name of the signal when in HEX mode only. In all other screen modes SI_SCOPE will use a two character abbreviation.
